Compass Life Sciences are partnering with a leading full service CRO developing their own novel platforms to the further development of anti-viral studies. Due to increasing portfolio of studies and an ever increasing need for development in this sector space our client is looking for qualified Nurses to expand their team. Given the nature of this role, to be considered for this role you must be qualified with experience in a research environment.
Requirements
- NMC registration essential and Nursing qualification essential
- Completed Immunisation and Vaccination (DPC Healthcare providers)
- Certificate in basic or intermediate life support essential
- Sound clinical knowledge
- Competence in the recording of medical history, vital signs, ECG, phlebotomy etc essential
- Knowledge of GCP and previous experience in a clinical trials setting essential
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Ability to manage adverse events or clinical incidents
- An understanding of ethical practice and confidentiality
- Good knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory standards
This role will also require ability to work with a degree of flexibility as this can include work across multiple sites and shift patterns, covering Monday-Sunday, night shifts, working either 9-5 or 12.5 hour shifts with days on and days off accordingly.
Key aspects of this role will be to promote the safety and wellbeing of subjects participating in clinical studies and assist the senior team in daily management of workload in the clinical environment, carrying out preparation, planning and execution of daily activities. As well as promoting a high standard of care at all times you will carry out tasks such as monitoring subjects with appropriate escalation.
