Compass Life Sciences have partnered with a global award-winning Clinical Research Organisation, who are currently seeking Principal Statistical Programmers to add to their international roster of experts, on a FSP or internal basis. We are currently exploring candidates across the UK and US, with permanent and contract positions vacant.

It is an exciting time at the company as it seeks to solidify its status as a leading biometric specialist CRO, by maintaining its reputation with some of the world's leading Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology companies. This opportunity would be ideal for an experienced and ambitious Biostatistician who would like to be an integral part of a team of experts, providing substantial value to the field of life sciences.

As a Principal Statistical Programmer, you will be accountable project leadership, line management (if desired) and technical hands-on responsibilities. You will be working across a range of therapeutic areas and phases, leading assigned studies, and ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget, to optimal quality. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Overall project delivery, including clinical trial reports and other regulatory submission deliverables
  • Project management, including allocating staff, predicting, and planning resources
  • Ensuring the team meets the highest quality standards, and follows the principles detailed in internal procedures
  • Functioning as a programming expert across a number of studies, with the ability to clarify details on analysis methods for the internal team

The ideal candidate would have:

  • A minimum of a BSc in mathematics, science, or IT related discipline
  • Experience working within a clinical trials environment (ideally at a CRO, but this is not required)
  • CDISC (SDTM and ADaM) experience
  • Previous experience of leading teams, projects, and studies

In exchange our client is offering a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package, flexible working hours and arrangements, alongside structured training, and development plans, and even the opportunity to continue your own research.

If this sounds like the right move for you in your career and would like more information, please contact Slater Lawrance on [email protected] or +44(0)23 9231 6034 for further information.
