Compass Life Sciences have partnered with a leading UK based CRO, supporting their search for Research Nurses to join the team. Due to an increase in studies and significant Business growth they are looking to expand on their established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an RGN Nurse that is keen to move into a new environment or an experienced Research Nurse that wishes to grow their career in Clinical Trials.
Key aspects of this role will be to promote the safety and wellbeing of subjects participating in clinical studies and assist the senior team in daily management of workload in the clinical environment, carrying out preparation, planning and execution of daily activities. As well as promoting a high standard of care at all times you will carry out tasks such as monitoring subjects with appropriate escalation.
Requirements
- NMC registration essential and Nursing qualification essential
- Completed Immunisation and Vaccination (DPC Healthcare providers)
- Certificate in basic or intermediate life support essential
- Sound clinical knowledge
- Competence in the recording of medical history, vital signs, ECG, phlebotomy etc essential
- Ability to prioritise own workload
- Ability to manage adverse events or clinical incidents
- An understanding of ethical practice and confidentiality
- Good knowledge of ICH-GCP and regulatory standards
This role will also require ability to work with a degree of flexibility as this can include work across multiple sites and shift patterns, covering Monday-Sunday, night shifts, working either 9-5 or 12.5 hour shifts with days on and days off accordingly.
