Compass Life Sciences have partnered with a global award-winning Clinical Research Organisation, who are currently seeking Senior Statistical Programmers to add to their international roster of experts, on a FSP or internal basis. We are currently exploring candidates across the UK and US, with permanent and contract positions vacant.

It is an exciting time at the company as it seeks to solidify its status as a leading biometric specialist CRO, by maintaining its reputation with some of the world's leading Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology companies. This opportunity would be ideal for an experienced and ambitious Biostatistician who would like to be an integral part of a team of experts, providing substantial value to the field of life sciences.

As a Senior Statistical Programmer, you will be responsible for project leadership and technical hands-on duties. You will be working across a range of phases and therapeutic areas, leading assigned studies, and ensuring they are delivered to optimal quality, on time and on budget. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • The manipulation of data to produce analysis datasets, including SDTM and ADaM datasets
  • Production and review of Tables, Figures and Listings (TFLs) according to statistical analysis plans
  • Creation and review of programming specifications and, if required, annotation of case report forms (CRFs) to CDISC standards
  • Feeding back data errors to client data management teams
  • Attendance at regular client meetings to provide updates on projects and timelines
  • Assisting internal management team in assessing resourcing needs for successful completion of assigned projects

The ideal candidate would have:

  • A minimum of a BSc in mathematics, science, or IT related discipline
  • Experience working within a clinical trials environment (ideally at a CRO, but this is not essential)
  • CDISC (SDTM and ADaM) experience
  • Previous experience of leading teams, as a preference but this is not necessarily essential

In exchange our client is offering a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package, flexible working hours and arrangements, alongside structured training, and development plans, and even the opportunity to continue your own research.

If this sounds like the right move for you in your career and would like more information, please contact Slater Lawrance on [email protected] or +44(0)23 9231 6034 for further information.
