Compass Life Sciences are looking to speak to experienced pharmaceutical account managers located in London who are searching for their next challenge. This role requires previous experience building relationships with existing business as well as promoting and obtaining clear relationships with new customers in and around London (you must be willing to travel 80% of the time – valid UK driving licence required). Preferably you will have some experience in DNA sequencing and products and have a BA/BS or MS, PhD in Life Sciences but this is not essential. Our client is a leader in its field (genomics) who focus on how the health care system diagnoses and treats cancer boasting a market leading company benefit package. The Role
As the senior territory account manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and securing relationships with customers in the London region. You will ensure achievement of territory sales are in line with the company's mission. You will provide regular reports on the status of your sales, potential market opportunities and your competitors in your region.

  • Building high-value and long-term customer accounts.
  • Identifying high-calibre sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and present compelling customer sales presentation and participate in all sales activities and assist with general customer demonstrations, training and support.
  • Negotiate pricing levels, providing contracts and quotations.
  • Develop and maintain all account/contact details within the CRM database.
  • Provide regular and accurate sales forecast updates.
  • Create a territory business plan for your region according to goals established by sales management.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to travel around the UK South region 80% of the time.
  • Must have a valid UK driving license.
  • Must have good technical skills in life science with extensive commercial skills to achieve sales targets.
  • Must have experience in a similar account manager role (preferably within genomics and sequencing).
